Empowering Hispanic Voices
Welcome
Who we are
We are The Official Texas Hispanic Caucus of the Texas Democratic Party (dba THC). THC organization is a coordinated effort of two of the largest and oldest Hispanic organizations impacting Hispanic voter participation and engagement, the Mexican American Democrats (MAD) and the Progressive Hispanic Democrats of Texas (PHDs).
Mission
The Texas Hispanic Caucus (THC) seeks to raise political and civic consciousness by electing Hispanics to all levels of government.
The Texas Hispanic Caucus will accomplish this by increasing political participation of individuals in all activities of the Texas Democratic Party (TDP), in particular, expanding Hispanic representation in voter registration, candidate training, activist training, voter education, legislative tracking, and outreach to Democratic Clubs, community and civic organizations.
Our Focus
Empowering Hispanic voices through education and training.
Voter Education
Clear, accessible information and resources to help voters make informed choices that will positively impact their communities, promote civic engagement, and encourage participation in the electoral process.
Candidate | Delegate Training
Building confident leaders ready to serve their communities and actively participate in the democratic process, fostering growth, inclusion, and collaboration throughout society.
Mobilizing Hispanic voters to strengthen their political impact and ensure that their voices are heard in the democratic process. This effort aims to increase participation and awareness of crucial issues that affect their communities.
